Adecco Northumberland are currently recruiting for a Manual Machinist for our client based in Newcastle.
Our client has established a reputation for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted and laser cut components to customer's specification.
Due to a rapidly expanding order book and customer base, our client is looking to employ a Manual Machinist on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job Summary:
Possessing the skills to work in a wide variety of material types including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
Manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support production and machine shop requirements.
General precision machining grinding.
You will be required to help with fitting, assembly, and other roles within the business.
Work within a team to high standards and tolerances
Work to health & safety guidelines. Experience
Conventional Miller / Manual machinist (Turning and CNC experience would be a positive)
Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or time served.
Can understand engineering drawings. Benefits:

Day shiftThe role is Monday to Thursday 39 hours with overtime available on Fridays subject to workload.
