We are seeking a Machine Operator on behalf of our client who are a well-established cardboard box manufacturer based in Marston Green, Birmingham.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience operating any type of die cut. printing, folding or multipoint machine (not essential as full training will be provided)
Th role:
Working part of the manufacturing team, initially training to set,operate and monitor high specification machinery in a fast paced factory environment
To work with and operate machinery and processing equipment to required quality, procedures, ensuring customer expectations are always met
To meet hygiene and cleanliness requirements across the production environment
To comply with health and safety rules and procedures to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner
To maintain plant and equipment in good order and report any defects for corrective action
The Ideal Candidate:
Ideally previous experience operating a corrugator/case maker/die-cut. printing or folding machines
Previous experience within the corrugated packaging industry would be desirable
Be a highly motivated and willing to undertake training
Physically fit as the role does involve manual handling
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 6am till 2pm/2pm till 10pm rotating weekly.
Benefits:
Discretionary weekly bonus of GBP50
20% shift premium
Over time 1.5 for Saturdays and Sundays
