Job overview / purpose:
*To manage the planning, receipt, issue, control and reporting of Project Documentation for Renewable Projects

Position in Organisation
*Reports to the Document Control Manager

Scope of Job
*Meeting key Project Milestones, manage the throughput of Contract Document Deliverables throughout design, manufacture, construction to the delivery of the final as built documentation package
*Use of an Electronic Document Management System to control the planning, issue and status reporting of all internal and sub-suppliers documentation
*Management of the Contract Document Register liaising with all stakeholders
*Utilise customer and supplier web based collaboration tools as required
*Build strong working relationships with multiple partners, including internal project team, customers, site teams and sub-suppliers
*Monthly and adhoc status reporting for Project team
*Support to other project areas during heavy workload periods, holiday and sick leave absences
Dimensions & Limits of Authority
*Signature authority in line with Divisional Signature Protocol.

The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified up to GCSE / O level standard
*HNC Qualification in Business Administration or Engineering would be useful but not essential
Experience
*Experience in a document control role, preferably working on large turnkey or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts
*Experience and understanding of the full document lifecycle
*Knowledge of document management systems and experience using web based collaboration tools
*Experience of implementing document management systems and processes would be an advantage
*Able to manage own time to meet multiple priorities
*Ability to manage large volumes of documentation, working to project deadlines
*Proficient and confident with MS Office software and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of the latest computer design drawing packages including AutoCAD would be an advantage
*Able to deal with customers, colleagues and suppliers in a polite and professional manner. Recognises the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
*Shows commitment and enthusiasm to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations
*Prepared to work as part of a team, keen to make internal and external contacts, learn and be able to operate company procedures with minimal assistance
*Have a methodical approach to their work, attention to detail is essential
*A self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to work under the minimum of supervision
