A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my clients who are well established, and very busy. Looking to add to the team an experienced Purchasing Assistant.
The company is an established distributor of workshop consumables to the aftermarket of the automotive industry with a wide range of customers in the UK and Europe and imports goods from around the world. The ability to work within a fast-paced expanding business environment is essential. The suitable individual will support the senior management team finding potential new suppliers and new products.
Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5pm
Hours can be flexible
Monday - Friday 9.30-4pm
30/45 mins lunch each day.
Salary depending on experience from GBP20k-GBP24k
Car parking
20 days holiday + stats
Pension
Duties will include -
Placing and chasing orders both in the UK and Internationally.
Assessing stock levels against orders.
Controlling re-orders
Finding potential new suppliers
Finding new products
The candidate -
A high level of English literacy and Math's
Strong MS Office skills
Social Media skills
Confident and personable telephone manner
Independent, self-motivated, organised
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Must have some purchasing/buying experience.
