This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Administrator to join an established business on a permanent basis. Salary GBP28K - GBP32k depending on experience/qualifications.

THE ROLE:

Coordination and administration of all bid management and commercial administration activities.
As part of a close team, you will be responsible for bid content writing, co-ordination, planning and have proven financial skills with an eye for improving the profitability of commercial terms and ultimately the bottom line of the Company.
To collaborate with key stakeholders within the business regarding the bid plan and deliverables.
To construct, maintain, and manage the ongoing development of cost & price models in excel. Cashflow experience will be useful in such financial models.
To writing content for bids, to prepare quote letters, and assist in writing technical and commercial proposals.
To collate different tender-related documents and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
To present a bid pack to senior management and supporting in internal approval process
To actively follow up with customers on quotations and track progress
To interact with suppliers on quotes for components and services when required.
To maintain bid schedules and remind the internal teams regards key deadlines.
THE CANDIDATE:

Graduate (Bachelor's Degree) in business studies
Demonstrable experience of working in a technical-commercial environment in an engineering product-based business
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent content writing skills and verbal communication
Excellent administration with strong scheduling skills for task completion
Ability to work under a pressurised environment
Passionate about technology that brings difference to industry sectors
