Senior Systems Support Technician (Electronic/Mechanical) - Yeovilton GBR

Salary DOE GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 per annum
Onsite working Mon to Thurs 0830hrs-1700hrs Fri 0830hrs-1500hrs
Occasional deployment.

How your experience will be utilised

To deliver on-site depth level technical support for a fleet of Electronic Warfare (EW) training assets.

The invaluable experience you will bring, to help us achieve more

We are expecting that you have done this role before with previous experience of working in a NATO or national military HQ security organisation.
Provide technical input to Senior Management. Post exercise analysis making recommendations where necessary to improve equipment/personnel performance.
Provide technical advice and assistance to the Forward Maintenance Section Chiefs as required.
In conjunction with the EW Systems Chief Technician, liaise with third party organisations and commercial entities to improve system knowledge, equipment capabilities, potential improvements, repair policies, spares and replacement equipment sources.
Experience of personnel management.
Excellent communication and numerical skills.It would be favourable if you have experience in the following areas

Problem Solving : exercise judgement on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Experience of supervising a team responsible for the maintenance of military electronic systems

You must be eligible to work and live in the UK
Due to the highly secure nature of the projects you'll be working on, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government DV/SC security clearance
