Hybrid Working - Immediate start - Reporting into Head of Marketing Communications

Reed Marketing & Creative are currently recruiting on the behalf of a nationwide company.

Main purpose of this role is to deliver excellence in marketing communications by providing specialist copywriting services and advice within the marketing department and around the organisation in line with the brand guidelines, technical requirements, team processes, internal policies, agreed standards, legislation and regulation. Produce, update, review and approve quality, compelling, complaint and creative marketing content across all channels, products and customer groups.

You'll ensure content is fit for purpose, compliant and easily understandable by its audiences. Contribute to a marketing centre of excellence with a strong understanding of and focus on digital culture and capability.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, review and approve marketing content that is accurate, consistent, compelling , creative and compliant

- Ensures content is on- brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice: is an exemplar of best practices in grammar, language and editorial guidelines

- Provides advice and constructive challenge when needed on a brief and the best way to meet it

- Work with the rest of the marketing communications team to review, implement and suggest any changes to guidelines for how the brand is expressed in writing

- Ensures all work is fit for purpose including in-situ

- Ensures all work is accurately controlled and captured within agreed facility for storing and managing all marketing communications content and assets

About You

- Experience of writing technical and promotional content

- Experience of quality control of copy content

- Knowledge of writing for offline and digital channels

- Experience in working in a project environment

- Experience of briefing, review and approval processes and systems

- Familiarity with the organisation's products and markets

- A passion for brand and house style

- Ability to to understand complex and technical issues and communicate them simply

- Excellent command of written and spoken English

- Recent track record in creating and reviewing impactful B2B and B2C copy
