Assistant Technology Technician - GatesheadThe Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Gateshead which is seeking an Assistant Technology Technician to join their team in September 2022 on a long term basis. The main duties of this role will be to support the Technology Department in maintaining and organising equipment and materials, and to support the Department with lesson preparation. The ideal candidate would be someone who is keen to gain experience and work within this field with the potential hopes of becoming a Technology Technician or Technology Teacher some day. Requirements for the role of Assistant Technology Technician:- Experience working with young people within the past 2 years- Excellent knowledge of subject area- Strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.- Excellent organisational and time management skills.The Education Network has become first choice for secondary schools across the region for both daily and long term supply cover.
