Salary: £18,699 

Hours: 36.25 hours per week 

Duration: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract  

Location: Agile working (working from home and our office in Sale)

What does Laurus Homes do?

Laurus Homes is fast becoming one of the most exciting developers within the North-West. We’re a very different kind of property development company. We use our profits to lend a helping hand through affordable housing and community projects.We design homes with a range of options for everyone, including shared ownership and Help to Buy scheme to help getting on the ladder that little bit easier.

The role

On this apprenticeship you will undertake a Business Administration, level 3 programme to support your development and chosen career path.

The Apprentice Sales Administrator will work within the Laurus Home Sales Team, administering the sales information system and the provision of all other administration services for the sales department and staff.

The main duties of the role include:

  • To take telephone enquiries from prospective customers regarding both forthcoming and existing sites.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Booking viewings for potential purchasers.
  • To assist Sales Advisors with customer options and ensure paperwork is correctly completed at the point of order by the customer.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure customer options are fitted correctly.
  • Processing completion work including scheduling cleaners and landscapers.

Whilst undertaking your learning programme your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role and you’ll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands on, work-based skills.

The Candidate:

  • Ability to understand and be understood, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Acceptable standard of education, ideally GCSE’s in English & Maths, Grade C / Grade 4 or above.
