Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HR Professional to join Nottingham City Council's Human Resources Team, as part of the Children's Social Care Department, on an initial 6 month temporary assignment. This is a full time position working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
As a HR Professional, your duties will include:
* Leading vacancy management and resourcing, retention and reward activities within Children's Social Care
* Identifying, recommending and implementing sustainable solutions to resolve organisational problems relating to vacancy management
* Developing and assessing new employability initiatives, working with Recruitment and Hiring Managers as well as external partners
* Quality assuring the employability career pathway, supporting the development of career pathways with Managers and HR Consultants
* Leading on the design and delivery of projects/programmes
* Evaluating current approaches and interventions for proposed changes by researching practises to identify ways of improvement within the Service
* Creating tailored advertising campaigns relevant to the needs of the service area
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working as a HR Consultant, ideally within a Local Authority
* Knowledge and understanding of local employment and skills challenges and appropriate methods of intervention
* Experience of creating or designing vacancy adverts on social media platforms
* Excellent communication skills
