This UK Regional Wealth Manager requires an Investment Assistant to • Delivery of client dealing is key to managing our clients investments • Awareness of processes and the ability to amend and adapt processes to improve efficiency and recognise the ever-changing financial services environment will help to achieve great client outcomesKEY RELATIONSHIPS (The breadth of collaborative working and influence over internal / external stakeholders)• Work with the Client Dealing team within the Investment Operations team to understand key processes and controls• To work closely alongside other Investment Administrators within the team to support their roles whislt delivering your role in an efficient way• To work closely with the Client Relationship Managers to ensure processes are followed and improved upon continuously• To work with the Finance team to ensure accurate deduction and reporting of fees from platforms• To work closely with the Investment Managers to act upon their dealing instructions and clearly communicate information regarding client holdingsPROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE(The degree of technical knowledge & experience which is needed)• Possesses strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills, with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel• Desire to obtain industry qualifications to a minimum of Level 3RESPONSIBILITIES (The degree of leadership / managerial / budgetary or people responsibility and/or key focus of the role - what it is expected to deliver. Then include detail of the actual tasks and KPIs against which performance is measured and appraised)• Processing Tradeso Play an important role in the day to day trading requirements of the Investment Operations team. This includes the investment of client cash, sales and withdrawalso Play an important role in the day to day co-ordination and switching process on our model portfolioso Liaise with Client Relationship Managers, Investment Managers and the Investment Operations Team to respond to queries• Investment Administrationo Plan, organise and prioritise workload to ensure work is dealt with within service level agreementso Ensure client needs are addressed through attentive listening and understanding of their issues via the Client Relationship Managers or Consultants and resolve them accordinglyo Working with colleagues to manage the centralised mailbox, in line with service level agreements• Generalo Assist in the successful management of our investment propositions, including our discretionary model portfolios and advisory serviceso Proactively manage all aspects of client investment affairs in a prompt and efficient mannero Able to work closely with colleagues as part of a team and make an active contribution to the Client Dealing team• The post holder will keep up to date with system and industry changes, attending training sessions, maintaining own training files and continually developing relevant knowledge and skills as well as having continuous awareness of compliance issues
You need to have c. 2 years Investment Administration experience
