Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading international manufacturing company in the recruitment of a Sales Administration Manager.

This is a new position within the company so it's a chance to really make the role your own! Reporting to the UK Sales Director, your internal customers will include all facets of the business from Sales and Marketing to Operations and Aftersales. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and would suit someone who is very well organised, confident and with a hands-on attitude, who can manage a busy sales administration team. The company are due to start implementing a new ERP system and the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting onboarding and integration.

Primary responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the order processing team members (currently 5).

Management of all sales administration support functions including order processing, invoicing and despatch.

Compliance with export control and supporting overseas market units.

Working with colleagues in other manufacturing units, primarily in Germany, to support other VS brands order processing needs.

Administration process and continuous performance improvements.

Develop our established current sales administration team with individual personal development, and team focus.

Assisting the current sales team with all administration - pricing enquiries/orders, handling customer relationship and key account management.

Support implementation of new ERP system.

Take responsibility for the teams KPI attainment.

Maintain Custom Compliance processes, record keeping & auditing

Key skills and qualifications:

* Must take ownership and accountability for their processes.

* Extensive knowledge in International trade & compliance - Export documentation, export entry, export controls, certificates & proof of exports.

* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline. (preferred)

* At least 5 years' previous Managerial Experience.

* Experience of leading a team and improving efficiency, processes and systems as part of providing an effective customer service experience.

* A can-do attitude with the ability to 'get stuck in' at all levels; strategically, tactically and operationally on a day-to-day basis.

* Ability to deal with a broad range of internal and external customers including, end users, market units, distributors and other manufacturing units.

* Good understanding of European shipping requirements.

* Highly motivated, possess a high degree of enthusiasm with a team orientated work style.

* Accuracy and attention to detail, with good presentation and IT skills including the proficient use of Microsoft Office.

* Previous experience of working with an enterprise resource planning system (ERP).

* Preferred experience in working with Dynamics 365 ERP.

Salary & Benefits:

* Salary Circa 35k dependent on experience and qualifications. 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 - 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 -12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
