Yourconstruction are delighted to be recruiting for a Marketing Assistant for a busy construction business.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy
for the Vivalda Group. This is a full mix marketing role which will provide the opportunity to work across a broad range
of marketing activities.
Taking control of the role, you will be the first contact point for the marketing department. Managing marketing
activity plans for campaigns, targeted email marketing (including building and writing email copy), social media
management and content planning, managing marketing collateral & brand assets, sales support and liaising with
external agencies where needed.

* An enthusiastic individual is required to form relationships with colleagues, across the brands and to take ownership
* and responsibility for key marketing activities.
* The successful candidate will be a problem solver and must be agile and
* willing to pitch in across a range of activities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
* Someone with both creative and commercial acumen is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting in the delivery of multi-channel marketing activities.
Managing a number of day-to-day projects to support sales teams.
Proactively creating and scheduling social media content.
Database management
Creating compelling content across email, social, blog, print and websites.
Producing templates for marketing and sales support material as required, including e-shots, presentations and news items.
Internal communications, developing internal publications and managing intranet.
Agency liaison.
Supporting marketing activity with market intelligence, research and analysis.
Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Key Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
Knowledge and experience in web/digital management and marketing.
Experience of creating and executing social media plans.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Person Specification
Essential:
Experience in a B2B marketing role
Highly-motivated self-starter, with a positive professional attitude, strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent relationship builder with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Natural creativity and flexibility in approach.
Excellent IT skills.
Desirable:
Educated in Marketing or Design
Experience within the wider construction industry or supply of technical products.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Basic graphic design skills.
Basic understanding of search engine optimization.
Experience of using Adobe Premiere Pro software.
