Working in a small team, reporting to the Senior Management Accountant your responsibilities include:
Role Profile:
* All aspects of Accounts Payable
* Identifying outstanding debts and supporting debt recovery
* Supporting month ends with prepayments, accruals and posting journals
* Daily & Monthly bank recs as well as customer & supplier accounts reconciliations
* Issuing VAT returns
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
Key skills:
* An understanding of accounting ledgers (debtors & creditors)
* A clear understanding of double entry accounts
* Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and all round IT skills.
* Reliable team player with strong communication and time management skills.
