Solutions Social Care is a small provider of day opportunities to adults with disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, behaviours that challenge and complex health needs.
We are currently looking for Support Workers to work weekends with our service users in the community and at our day service in north London.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting clients to engage in activities at our Day Centre or in the community (outreach). This includes 2:1, 1:1 and group work.
Completing daily logs and communication books.
Supporting clients to work on their goals and outcomes.
Liaising and cooperating with the Centre Manager, Activity Coordinator and others in the Senior Management Team to ensure activities and schedules run smoothly and meet the needs of the service.
Possibly being a key-worker for one or more clients.
Be able to work with all our clients, possibly those with behaviours that challenge.
Applicants must have an understanding of supporting clients with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs and have a person-centred approach, strong communication and organisational skills, and an enthusiasm for delivering high quality support to clients. We will also want you to be able to demonstrate competence for the role based on previous experience or skills.
