New project up to GBP45/Hr - Social Worker - Greater Manchester

A Local Authority based in the Greater Manchester Area is seeking to appoint a number of Qualified Social Workers to be a part of a new project to support the assessment and intervention service.

• Will be working to support the Duty and Assessment Team in a non court work team.
• This is a locum post which offers the opportunity to develop and the opportunity to take on a permanent post in the future.

With a recent Outstanding Ofsted focused visit, they have proven to have a stable senior leadership with a clear focus on keeping children safe and on improving the quality of social work practice. From the start, you would receive a comprehensive induction and through out your service good support from managers with training, help and advice to enable you to reach the peak of your career.

As a Qualified Social Worker, you'd be focused more on helping those in need to access resources rather than on court reports. Your emphasis would be on identifying the needs of children that require support, either through continued social work intervention or through the provision of services

Requirements: We're looking for people are already registered with Social Work England, eligible to work in the UK and are able to drive. Previous experience working with children and in a statutory setting is a plus.
