Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading global service provider who are looking to recruit a Portering and Helpdesk Manger to maximise their contract performancve with their client, a leading NHS Trust based in West London.

This is a full-time permanent role with a salary of up to GBP45k and an ASAP start.

The successful PHM will deliver and develop a well organised, compliant and effective porter service to the Hospital and a professional helpdesk service, ensuring a professional response capturing and distributing service requests within agreed service levels to the wider contract.

The successful Portering and Helpdesk Manager will be responsible for:

  • understanding and delivering all contractual requirements within agreed timeframes
  • ensuring systems are in place for capturing, managing and reporting performance
  • collating and compile figures and reports for managers
  • developing excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate regularly (as appropriate) through meetings and written communications

The successful Portering and Helpdesk Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • knowledge of porter and waste services in hospitals and the operational challenges and opportunities faced on a daily basis
  • experience of leading and managing a team in a similar environment
  • experience in promoting and ensuring compliance to H&S requirements
  • excellent communication and people management skills
  • strong financial acumen
