We're seeking a creative Graphic Designer who has a good level of experience using the Adobe Creative Suite to execute digital and for-print designs. This is a permanent, full-time, employed opportunity working for our client near Bury St Edmunds. The role is a hybrid working position with around 2 days a week working from the office, depending on workload.

The Company

Having been established over 20 years ago, the company is now a leading provider of insight-driven strategic and creative solutions to retail and leisure clients. From big-picture strategic planning and brand repositioning, to creating emotionally engaging communications that make people want to shop, dine and play - they love what they do!

Based in Mid-Suffolk, not far from Bury St Edmunds, the company is comprised of around fifteen people and operate as one big, close-knit work family. They work with clients around the UK and are re-building their European customer-base after the height of the covid-19 pandemic.

The Job

Working as part of a two-person studio team with the company's Senior Graphic Designer, this job is focused on delivering graphics that effectively convey messages in an aesthetically pleasing, impactful way. You'll be working to mainly commercial client-led briefs to create imagery for print and online; such as brochures, posters, logos, social media content, websites, adverts and more from concept to completion.

The main focus and responsibilities will involve:

* Creating the above materials using the Adobe's Creative Suite - mainly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

* Produce drafts based on briefs, for review by clients, and make revisions based on the feedback received

* Occasionally liaise directly with the client to gain an understanding of their needs and expectations

* Delivering design elements that meet the brief and are on budget

* Work closely with the external printers to ensure deadlines are met and materials are printed to the highest quality

The Person

This role would suit a Graphic Designer who has experience in designing in line with commercial briefs and enjoys creating on-trend, aesthetically pleasing visual communications for both print and online mediums. You'll enjoy multi-tasking, working with clients, and have excellent and professional communication skills.

Other attributes and requirements are:

* A good working knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite - particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, and ideally InDesign, too

* Experience of preparing artwork for print

* Proficient using a Mac

* An excellent team spirit and willingness to be part of a close-working team

* Professional written and verbal communication skills

* An exceptional multi-tasker and organiser. The ability to self-prioritise and manage own workload and time

* Driving licence and own vehicle to reach the office's remote location between Bury St Edmunds and Diss

Pay & Benefits

The company is offering a salary between GBP19,000 - GBP26,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with around 2 days per week in the office, individual funding for learning and development, progression opportunities, 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, stakeholder pension, and just a really, fun, lovely working team and environment with quarterly socials and supportive teammates.
