Duration: Permanent
Hours: 8am until 4:15pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 2pm on Friday
Salary: GBP22,000 to GBP26,000

Polytec are looking for a Buyer for our Huntingdon based client to provide support in purchasing goods, materials and services.
Responsibilities:
* Process customer BoM's
* Following approval, purchase goods, materials, components, or services according to specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
* Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials communicating supply problems
* Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience within a purchasing role, preferably in manufacturing
* Knowledge of electronic components / PCB's would be helpful but not essential.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent IT skills including Intermediate Excel abilities
* Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems
* A strong eye for detail is a must.
* Flexibility to work within goods in and stores as required
