Duration: Permanent
Hours: 8am until 4:15pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 2pm on Friday
Salary: GBP27,000 to GBP32,000

Polytec are looking for a Senior Buyer for our Huntingdon based client to support the Purchasing Manager in expediting and procuring goods, materials, and services.
Responsibilities:
* Process customer BoM's
* Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
* Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials
* Maintain accurate records of all orders within MRP
* Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience working within purchasing, preferably in manufacturing
* Good knowledge of electronic components / PCB's
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent IT skills including Intermediate Excel abilities
* Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems
* A strong eye for detail is a must
* Willingness to work within other departments, especially the stores area
