Area Cleaning Supervisor
Hales Group are seeking experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our client based in Sheffield.
You will be responsible the supervision of onsite cleaning to ensure provision of an effective and efficient service in accordance with customer requirements across multiple sites.

Carry out routine and non-routine cleaning duties as and when required in accordance with the cleaning specification and to the desired quality
Organisation and monitoring of staff under their supervision to ensure achievement of relevant cleaning standards through Quality Monitoring audits
Arrange staff cover for absence through sickness and holidays etc.
Ensure the effective and safe use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery
Responsible to the Area Operations Manager for the discipline of employees under their supervision
Ensure relevant Health & Safety of all employees within their supervision
To complete all relevant documentation relating to HR, payroll and building service information, such as timesheets, variations and additional work sheets
Assist in the interview and selection of cleaning staff and arrange on-site induction
Maintain effective communications with staff and customers, ensuring good customer care procedures
Ensure good staff morale
Responsible for the ordering of cleaning materials/equipment necessary to deliver the cleaning service
Identify staff training requirements to the Area Operations Manager
Assist the Area Operations Manager in the completion of staff annual reviews in line with the agreed procedureSuitable candidates will;
To be able to work alone or part of a team
Ability to organise own workload and that of cleaning staff
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and uses and of cleaning techniques and methods
To hold a valid UK driving licence to 'Category B' standard
Previous experience working in a cleaning related environment
Previous supervision experience
Previous cleaning experience
Ability to develop effective working relationships with customers and employees
HOURS: 22.5 hours per week (split early and afternoon)
LOCATION: Sheffield
TERM: Permanent
PAY: GBP22,126 pro rata
