Innovation & Growth Specialist -- Warrington -- GBP42-48k Starting Salary -- 29 Days Holidays (inc stat) -- HYBRID WORKING (1 day pw in office) --Excellent benefits and 'extras' -- New product/software development
Our client, a recruiting a high calibre Senior Innovation & Growth Specialist with specific expertise in new product, service and software development to support innovation led businesses based in the North West UK to achieve their growth ambitions. This role will have pre-sales experience and act as a conduit between technical and non-technical product and service development.
You will be of exceptional high calibre and capable of being a combination of coach, mentor, critical friend, and champion to this exceedingly demanding group of client companies. It is mandatory to have some experience of supporting and advising SMEs and the senior management teams at various stages of the business life cycle.
Skills / Experience
- Practical experience of new product development principles i.e. ideation, MVP development, value propositions, business models, pricing options, launch strategies, etc
- Practical experience of developing and testing new software products either aimed at B2B, B2C or internal audiences
- Agile experience - backlog items (epics/features/user stories)
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Good financial, analytical, reasoning and decision-making skills
- From a risk perspective, ability to assess business plans, financial accounts and ancillary information, including personal assessment of potential borrowers
- Able to express ideas clearly, both verbally, face-to-face, by telephone, and in written communications and actively listen to others logically and accurately
- Business acumen and enough experience to credibly mentor Senior Managers in development of differentiated business models
- Experience of leading workshops in developing and pivoting business models in response to changing market perceptions
- Effective in identifying problems, seeking pertinent data and recognising important information to solve complex problems and deal with new issues
- Actively influences events, rather than passively accepts them, sees opportunities and acts on them and originates action
- Actively participates as a full member of a team, effectively contributing and sharing information even when it is of no direct personal interest

- Support businesses to implement new product and service development practices and maximise their potential for bringing new products and services to market
- Support client to analyse needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
- Work with clients to solve product-related problems and advise on best strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
- Assess value, develops cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
