Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with one of the UK's leading Property Consultancies on the hire of a Senior Planner to their office in Reading!

The team's (comprising Reading and Oxford offices) reach is particularly diverse, with a strong pipeline of projects for a wide variety of clients, such as developers, investors, major corporates / owner occupiers, land owning charities and education organisations.
Typically, your role will involve managing your own workload, assisting the senior team fee earners, undertaking planning research and enquiries, drafting and finessing reports and planning submissions (site assessments, policy notes, applications, appeals, development plan representations and so on). Assisting with the management of the team's caseload and its business development activities.
Candidates should hold an appropriate qualification, 2-5 years' post qualification experience and RTPI Chartership. You should be an effective communicator, a team player with a great eye for detail. A proven ability to multi-task and a willingness and enthusiasm to support and guide junior colleagues. Applicants will need to hold a UK driving licence.
