We have a requirement for a Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance team in Fawley. The team deal with reactive maintenance and repair, typically of small value covering work types such as carpentry, electrical faults, safety shower repair, mechanical faults, roller shutter doors, fire alarm panels, leaks, HVAC and machine repair.
Reporting to the contract manager, you will oversee both the direct workforce as well as specialist subcontractors where required.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical or facilities management
* Practical experience of managing muti-discipline teams and developing people
* Substantial knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Managing budgets and ensuring cost effectiveness
* Responding quickly to emergencies that arise and dealing with them appropriately
* Good client facing skills & communication
* Management of safety critical dates (completion of jobs)
Knowledge of working in a petrochemical environment would be a bonus but is not essential.
On offer is a competitive salary, 24 days holiday (increasing with service) plus bank holidays, pension and discretionary bonuses.
