Communications Officer
Salary: £33,250 per annum, pro rata
Part-Time: 30 hours per week
Permanent
Flexible working (working two days a week in the office)
Location: Bath
What you'll be doing
Do you have great design and communications skills and want to work in a vibrant, expanding team? Come to a purpose-led environment where you can make a difference every day. In this role you’ll be delivering materials for colleagues across the organisation, from newsletters to presentations, video, displays and content for our digital channels.
You’ll play a key part in keeping our colleague intranet engaging and up to date, and you’ll have experience of working with CMS and other software systems.
You’ll act as a brand ambassador across the business, advising colleagues on how to get their messages across effectively. You’ll support our communications team, in particular our Internal Communications Manager, in delivering large events, regular colleague briefings and printed materials, as well as working with our selected charity of the year.
More about you
You’re a confident communicator with an eye for great design. As our go-to for all things colleague focused, you’ll relish getting to know Curo and our people inside out. You’ll thrive on juggling diverse projects, from events to web content. And you’ll love working across multiple platforms, uploading content and designing a variety of assets for both print and online.
When and where you'll be doing it
You’ll work four days a week, with at least two fixed days in the office and the option of flexible working on other days.
What you’ll get in return
We think you’ll be doing a job that makes you feel good about your contribution and helps us make a difference to our customers’ lives every day.
In return for all your hard work, not only do you get a great salary, but we also offer:
- A day’s leave on your birthday
- 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 after 3 years’ service (pro rata)
- Company Pension contribution of up to 10%
- Flexible Benefits including health care, gym membership, buying holiday
- And participation in our annual Homes for Good reward (which pays up to 5% of your annual salary).
One more thing
Here at Curo we are about getting the right candidate for the right role. We recognise that as an organisation we are under-represented in certain areas, so we operate the Disability Confident scheme and we welcome applications from applicants who identify as LGBT or are from an Ethnic Minority background. It would be great to get applications from our Curo customers too.
If you need support to assist you to make an application or attend an interview, then please email our recruitment team at recruitment@curo-group.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
