Our public sector client based in Lisburn requires an experienced administrator to provide a modern, effecient, professional and customer-focused administrative service to all functions within the relevant Area Command as well as other internal and external customers.
Duties will include but not limited to:
1. Checking claims forms have proper authorisation
2. Inputting the claims forms into payroll system
3. Dealing with queries or errors on claims forms and correcting any incorrect payments made previously
4. Produce output reports to check the data for input accuracy
5. Document management
6. Printing payslips, distributing to the relevant Districts enclosing any other memos or reports required
7. Distributing P60 forms
8. Assistning other members of the team as and when required
Operating Hours: 09.00 - 17.00 Mon - Fri (36.25hrs per week)
Hourly Rate: GBP10.63
Essential Criteria
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs or Equivalent at Grade C or above o include English and Maths
* At least 2 years' experience working in a busy and demanding office environment, carrying out a range of business support tasks including scheduling and administrative support for meetings
* Have a working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable
* Experience of taking and producing minutes and action plans arising from meetings
* Experience of working within local government or the public sector
