Are you a professional, vibrant, talented and motivated Construction | Commercial Interiors Sales & Marketing professional with experience in supporting external sales teams who are promoting design led interior products to Architects, Interior Designers, Fit Out/Design & Build Companies, Contractors and End Users?
If so, we are working with a leading Manufacturer of highly sustainable and design led FLOORING SOLUTIONS who are seeking to recruit a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING COORDINATOR to join their already well-established team in this exciting growth role.
The Client
Leader in the design, manufacture and supply of unique carpet tiles for the International commercial market and have more than 25 years of experience in the carpet tile business.
They have a dynamic and energetic team; they set trends and always aim to inspire. They are bound to be flexible, innovative, creative in finding better environmental solutions and deliver excellence and outstanding service.
The Role
Hybrid home-based and London Showroom based (min 4 days a week). Will suit a starter compliant with SoCMed who can feed the talent pool for future sales representatives or an accomplished sales person in the A&D sector wanting to wind down perhaps at later stages of their career. They have the network, gravitas and knowledge but need to be able with SoCMed, CRM etc.
The main purpose is to facilitate conversion of sales for the company being responsible for generating, qualifying and quantifying new leads and prospects using varied data sources including trade press, website activity, sample requests, ABI Leads, SocMed, CRM records etc with the view to arranging Supplier Presentations, CPDs, Lunch and Learns and Introductory meetings for the Sales Team.
A key role to facilitate how the Marketing Function located in Europe and the local Sales Team in UK can align and work together to maximise the reach to the addressable market in a coordinated manner, via the effective and targeted deployment of marketing resources within the relevant channels of communication.
Tasks will include but not limited to:
* Support tasks related to team coordination and organisation, e.g., showroom bookings.
* Guide and support Showroom visitors from A&D prospects and contacts.
* Market research to identify trends and shifts including competition and alternative products.
* Sectorial Research to identify key stakeholders, main drivers and must haves within each of the addressable sectors to best tailor our offering.
* Marketing resources deployment (showroom, social media, eMarketing). Identifying the best and most relevant channels for each sector.
* Measure ROI on digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
* A modest level of opportunities and sales will be handled directly by the incumbent where no
Direct to Market Sales person has been allocated to.
Responsible for introducing the business and their product portfolio to Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, Commercial End Users and other potential partners with key focus on the London area as well as other geographical areas where the business operates with DTM approach working closely with the Sales Team utilising eMarketing tools available as well as helping to develop new eMarketing efforts.
Nurturing of leads/prospects database on CRM not necessarily directly engaged by the Sales Team including sample follow ups to professional prospects may be also required until the lead/prospect can be passed onto an appropriate member of the Sales Team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) include, but not limited to the following:
* Overall Direct to Market Sales Figures
* Efficient Management of CRM Data Base ensuring updated and relevant information is maintained at all times.
* Effective communication via phone calls emails and SoCMed engagement with prospect and leads.
* Ratio Sales Actions to appointments secured.
* Ratio Sales Actions to enquiries/samples requests received.
* Ratio Sales Actions to sales conversion.
