Job Title: Retail Manager - Wall & Floor Tiles

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Remuneration: GBP27,000 - GBP30,000 + uncapped commission

The role of the Retail Showroom Manager - Wall & Floor Tiles will involve:
* Retail showroom manager position, selling a manufactured and distributed range of wall & floor tiles such as; porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles and glass & stone tiles
* Managing the retail team and ensuring day-to-day smooth running of the show room
* Generating sales through retail and trade customers
* Managing the costs and overheads, monthly sales targets and all other factors affecting P&L
* Ensuring that the showroom sales targets are achieved and profits are increased
* Provide training and continuously develop new and existing staff
* Monitor the market, customer activity, pricing and tactics to increase sales and stay competitive
* Upsell and cross sell products wherever possible
* Ensure the showroom is fully stocked and displays are presentable
The ideal applicant will be a Retail Showroom Manager - Wall & Floor Tiles with:
* Must have man management and sales experience, ideally within the tiling industry however open on product
* Experience of having sold into distribution, ideally retail showrooms
* Must have experience managing a small team
* Tile experience is not essential, our client is open to many interior product backgrounds such as; adhesives, office furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, fabrics, wall coverings, wallpapers, ceilings, soft furnishings, floor coverings etc
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Good numeracy skills
* Enthusiastic, sales driven individual
