A well-established, leading supplier of high-quality construction products are looking to recruit a highly motivated Factory Manager to join their team in Colchester. The company specialise in various sectors of the construction industry including design, manufacture & installation. If you have excellent staff management skills and have worked within construction related manufacture, then this role can offer a fantastic career within a progressive market leader.
Duties:
Managing a team of 20 staff
Schedule work to ensure product is manufactured on time and to the quality required.
Allocate tasks to Supervisor and staff to ensure they are working to optimum levels
Ensure staff are working within the constraints of the health and safety parameters.
Ensure a high level of finish and work is maintained
Contribute to process improvements working alongside the Directors.
Keep up to speed, and be flexible with, potential changes within a developing business.Experience:
Good, proven experience in a production management role is essential.
A good level of computer literacy is essential including Microsoft Office
Confident and professional communication skills
Experience of construction related manufacture is required
Must have own transport and live within a commutable distance of ColchesterBenefits:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
