Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join a key client in West Yorkshire.
Controls Engineers with knowledge of PLC programming, HMIs, PID control loops or similar will be well suited. Any computer science experience could also be useful. Previous experience of IEC61131 programming languages using PLCs is key to the role.
The role of the Controls Engineer;
* Working as part of a team including experienced Control Engineers, to create and develop product controls designs
* Pursue market leading technical innovations to deliver commercial product features and benefits
* Deliver innovative technical advancements in controls solutions for a demanding and technically complex environment
* Deliver best energy performing solutions
Controls Engineers applying for the role are likely to have the following;
* Computer literate with understanding of structured software design
* Ideally have a good understanding of communication protocols including Modbus and/or TCP/IP
* Enthusiasm and positivity for bringing sound design solutions to market
* Creativity and flare!
* An appreciation of how mechanical aspects of the product/machine need to be considered
* Driving licence essential
* Ideally Degree qualified
