Lab Technician
IR35 status: Outside of IR35
The role:
An established Electronics device consultancy specialising in Safety Critical & Medical Device products, are looking to hire a number of Laboratory & Test Technicians (both contractors and permanent Technicians). For the contract role it will be an initial 6 month contract that is likely to extend.
In this role you will be working on a variety of handheld medical devices, carrying out testing activities using torque and force testing tools. Understanding the capabilities of each device is essential, due to the tasks each device will have to perform.
Although you will be responsible for the hands on testing, you will then be responsible for collecting, analysing and reviewing the statistical data before documenting.
Test method validation will be an essential requirement to ensure you hit the ground running on a fast paced project. As this role will be a Laboratory/Lab based position, it is important you will have previously worked in a lab environment and understand the test set up/preparation processes required.
Key responsibilities:
- Test method validation
- Hands on device testing
- Lab experience

- Medical or Pharmaceutical experience
- Collecting, reviewing, analysing and reporting of statistical data
