Joining us as Inclusive Learning Manager, you will support the Head of Inclusive Learning in managing the overall Learning Inclusion Service, ensuring inclusive support arrangements are managed effectively for all learners including those who do not receive high needs funding. You will lead, develop, and manage a high-quality, cost-effective admissions and support service for learners requiring additional needs and work in partnership with specialist services, both internally and externally, to ensure support is of a consistent high standard.
We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering staff development training and other identifiable personal achievements in the disability field and who has experience in managing a team. You’ll be educated to Level 3 (as a minimum) and have good working knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Equality Act 2010, Children & Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice and the implications for the Learning Support Service.
You will have good working knowledge of support for learners with sensory impairments, social & emotional issues, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and medical conditions, and ideally have good working knowledge of support for learners with ESOL, English and Maths support needs. A qualification in a disability or disability support field is desirable, as is a recognised management qualification.
