Job Title: Contracts Manager - Roofing

Area to be covered: South East (Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire)
Located: Ideally North Essex
Remuneration: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 + Company Performance Related Bonus

The role of the Contracts Manager - Roofing will involve:
* Contracts Manager position promoting a high quality range of various pitched & flat roofing contract services; single ply, liquid roofing, flat roofing, felting, commercial roofing, industrial roofing
* Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion
* Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
* Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
* Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
* Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
* Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
* Managing pre-contract planning and liaison with estimators
* Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
* Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
* Managing contracts up to 15 contracts at any one time ranging in value from GBP50k - GBP2m
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Roofing with:
* Must have a proven track record in Project/Contracts management in the roofing market sector
* Must have single-ply experience
* Ideally will have experience in liquid applied, hot melt, felt and pitched roofing
* Must have CSCS card
* Wants to take control
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* Confident and articulate
* Ability to plan and organise deliverables
