Delivery Driver *
* Barnstaple area *
* 20 - 35 hours a week *
* GBP11.50 an hour *
* 4 week contract starting 25th July *
We are working with our client who are looking for Postal Delivery drivers to work on a 4 week contract starting on 25th July. Our client are a postal service who have over 500 years worth of history and are extremely proud of the work that they do.
About the role
You will be responsible for delivering mail to customers. You will start your day in the depot sorting out your route and loading your van, you will then go and deliver the mail within your specified location using a hand held scanner and returning to the depot for a debrief at the end of your shift.
About You
You will need to be pro active and comfortable working on your own. This role will include a combination of walking and driving. You will also need to be comfortable talking with the public. You will be required to have a full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points on your licence. Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS criminal record check.
