Legal Cashier - Part Time
Are you an experienced Legal Cashier?
Are you looking to step away from full time work and into a more flexible part time role?
Our client, one of Kent's leading law firms, are seeking an experienced legal cashier to join their cashiering team, to ensure that financial compliance is met to a suitable standard in line with SRA accounts rules. Liaising with fee earners, secretaries, and senior cashiers to maximise cooperation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* To assist in the identification of residual balances and returning them to the correct party
* Ensuring that funds being paid to charity are in line with the SRA Accounts Rules and internal policies are being met
* To work with the Head Cashier in identifying potential client to office transfers, and maintain the Central Register for client funds
* Maintain the data integrity in the practice management system by assisting the Finance Operations Manager with various tasks
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working as a Legal Cashier
* Self-motivated, able to manage your own caseload and work independently
* Available to work 3/4 days a week (flexibility on this for the right candidate)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
