Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a brilliant organisation in the Cheshire area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Working for an established firm that delivers back office software and solutions to clients.
Key Objectives:
Working within a larger team to ensure accurate and timely in-house payroll production for various clients
Excellent Service delivery
End to End Payroll
Maintain working knowledge and understanding of current statutory regulations
Key Duties/Tasks:
This role will be varied over numerous clients with the main focus on client relationships and customer care
Month end & year-end returns & balancing
Perform manual calculations as & when required
Knowledge of statutory & legislative regulations
Ability to communicate at all levels
Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
Clear & concise communication, both written & verbal
Ability to work on own & within part of a team
Knowledge of UK Tax legislation
Desirable skills and attributes:
You will have had previous payroll experience
A keen eye for detail
Enjoy working within a team
Personable and keen candidate with a positive outlook
Ability to supervise in managers absence
Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
Must have strong Excel
IPP Payroll qualification or be willing to attain
At least two years knowledge of working in a multi frequency payroll environment
