£26943 – £28095 per annum 

Burton On Trent, Staffordshire (Hybrid Working) 

Temporary, Part Time – 30 hours per week

This new role in our Tenancy Sustainment team, will be key in providing support to sustain the tenancies of people who are living with mental health illness in East Staffordshire. This innovative service will see health and housing joined up in a way which research has determined works effectively to keep people in their homes. 

 

 

Specifically, the role will involve: 

 

  • Work closely with other third sector agencies and the NHS in a collaborative team with a focus on keeping people safe and well in their homes. 
  • Carrying out an assessment to identify barriers to sustaining a tenancy 
  • Providing targeted and specific interventions to sustain tenancies 
  • Engaging, educating and promoting independent living and positive tenants and communities 

     

 

Our ideal candidate will: 

 

  • Be a strong team player with excellent networking skills and have experience of positive involvement in sensitive case work with complex families 
  • Working knowledge of how mental health issues can affect an individual and experience in delivering or signposting to specialist help is also essential 
  • Knowledge of different tenure types across the social housing and private rented sector, or be willing to attend training to expand their existing knowledge 

     

 

 

Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and vehicle are essential.
