Our client provides outsourced payroll services to a large and varied customer base. On their behalf, Hanson Lawrie is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join their expanding team and deliver an efficient and professional service to their clients. Daily you will be processing payroll for companies from all industry sectors, on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis. You will be managing multiple client payrolls at any one time, as well as their auto-enrolment pension requirements. You'll support all aspects of the payroll function to include processing starters and leavers, statutory payments and RTI reporting. You will also be responsible for the preparation of P11Ds and managing year-end processes.
Additionally, you will offer advice to employers on pay matters such as statutory pay requirements and legislation, holiday pay and the National Minimum Wage. Where necessary, you will be liaising with HMRC and other departments, to ensure the clients' needs are fully met.
Professional communication skills, excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle high volume payroll processing in a fast-paced environment are essential for this position
