We have a brilliant opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Technical Specialist with a formulation science background to join a leading pharmaceutical development business in Kent, UK.

Within the role you will:

* Ensure process and product knowledge is well understood, kept up to date and utilised effectively to drive compliance and enable continuous improvement.

* Provide technical evaluation for new business opportunities as well as change request on current products and processes.

* Support process and equipment validation.

* Ensure delivery of all technical activities for projects with clear customer focus and interaction on technical matters.

* Train operators and supervisors on new or improved equipment and processes.

To be successful in this position you will have significant experience in:

* Solid dose manufacture/development formulation

* Formulation science

* People management; training colleagues on new/improved equipment and processes.

* Project management; ensuring technical activities are executed on time and as per requirements

* Customer interaction; ensuring progress is communicated clearly and needs are met

* Technology transfer

* Process validation

Accountabilities for this role include; technical evaluation for new business opportunities, supporting process and equipment validation and creating relevant documents. You will ensure effective support is provided to the operations team to assist with short term resolution of any technical difficulties and in delivery of longer term improvements in process robustness.
