Are you a fully qualified Primary Teacher or a newly qualified Primary Teacher with a genuine enthusiasm for Teaching?
Grade A Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic school in Peterborough who are currently looking for a Year 2 teacher to start as soon as compliance checks have been completed.
What will you be doing?
* Carry out teaching duties to meet objectives specified in the school's schemes of work and National Curriculum.
* To assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of assigned pupils as defined by school policy.
* To plan and prepare courses, schemes of work and individual lessons, appropriate to the needs, interests, experience, and existing knowledge of the pupils in the class.
* To build and maintain co-operative relationships with parents and to communicate with them on pupils' learning and progress, drawing attention to special skills and talents as well as to problems or difficulties.

* A passion, drive, and enthusiasm for leading all children within the school.
* Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and behaviour strategies, and have a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, with excellent subject knowledge in Numeracy and Literacy.
To be successful for this role, we require.
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
* UK Teaching experience within the last 3 years
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
