Our client is looking for a Service Reception Advisor to join their team. Previous experience (2-3yrs+) in a similar role within the industry is required.

The role is based on the reception desk so you will be the first point of contact. The role will act as a liaison between customers and the Service Department. Communication is key, as the role needs to liaise with both the customer regarding the work needing to be carried out; (face to face, email, telephone) with a timeline for completion and advising the Service Department both verbally and through worksheets as to the work required. The role requires exemplary customer service skills coupled with a sales-minded attitude.

Your duties will include:

Be the first point of contact based on the reception desk, meeting and greeting visitors

Make outgoing calls to new and existing customer base

*

Communicate with customers about their vehicle service, Mot or warranty

*

Communicate with the service team about vehicle status

*

Advise customers of any changes to collection times/additional faults/ price in a professional manner. Ensure customer satisfaction at every step of interaction

*

Maintain excellent relationships with all customers to ensure repeat business

*

Answer customer queries or questions with great professionalism.

*

Use all methods of customer communication including :on-line booking, phone calls, letters, email and face to face interactions to schedule and book appointments.

Process customer payments /credits

*

Display (over a period of time) an extensive knowledge of our products and services.

Essential skills, qualifications and experience

*

Experience working in a service type environment with strong face to face skills

*

Computer literate with some marketing knowledge

*

Strong written and verbal communications

*

Sales skills - as outgoing phone calls to customers is a requirement

Mon-Fri 8.00am/8.30am - 5.00pm/5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch and every 2nd Sat 8.00am -1pm, but flexible to business needs.

Salary circa GBP21,000- GBP23,000 + bonus (dependent on experience)
