We are looking for a Workday - Time & Absence Specialist to join our client for a 6 month temporary assignment. This position is to start asap, for 6 month, based Feltham.

Pay - PAYE rate of up to GBP415 per day including holiday pay or alternatively working via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company (inside IR35) up to GBP500 per day (negotiable).

Our client require additional support to develop their Core HCM and Time & Absence functionality in Workday. They need someone who will naturally be able to translate business needs to the technical team and manage the design and functionality to ensure requirements are met and validated.

You'll have a number of key projects to deliver and analysts to support the team's work, also you'll work closely with stakeholders to collect requirements, translate for the technical teams and then build solutions on Workday.

The ideal person will have worked with a global matrix organisation previously, have HR and Workday project management (Agile) experience and proven experience of translating business requirements into functional designs while leading solutions on Workday.

Responsibilities

* Truly understand the business requirements. Resolve problems within Workday Core HCM and Compensation / Absence, challenge the status quo, make proposals to deliver.

* Actively analyse & document business & functional requirements to contribute to the resolution of technical, process, and business issues

* Develop positive working relationships with numerous stakeholders

* Plan and execute substantial aspects of change projects, including acting as product owner, delivering through others and to time, cost and quality, managing risks

* Organize & execute projects, under limited supervision, by facilitating design sessions, leading configuration, coordinating testing, and executing cutover

* Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the functional & technical impacts of configuration and other decisions to stakeholder groups

* Research & resolve process and technical problems, process flaws & recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

What we are looking for

* Experience of translating business requirements into functional designs and the application of design thinking

* Experience of leading solutions in Workday

* Well-versed in working in DevOps model

* Experience of Shared Service Centres

* Digital fluency to work with technology teams to implement high-quality digital products and solutions

* Experience in preparing business requirements, configuration documentation, test scripts and meeting notes

* Project management experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

* Experience working within a global organisation
