The HR department is responsible for managing and supporting the needs of our 950+ people at their head office in London and sites across 3 regions located at our University partners across England. The HR team is split across offices in London, Nottingham and Exeter.

About the new role
To provide an excellent HR administration and reporting service to the HR Department and internal / external customers, and to act as the first point of contact for all HR administration enquiries. Done via our Service Desk ticketing system (HelloHR) and Workday (HR & Payroll System), You will assist with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for all HR administrative related tasks, to support the HR team and the wider business with consistency and standards. You will provide flexibility to enable the HR department to cope with peak workloads throughout the year.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all employee administration, from new starters to leavers, is accurately processed in a timely manner, which includes;
* Support the end to end process of employee administration through Workday and liaising with line managers to ensure accurate and timely information is received and processed
* Administer the new starter process, including, but not limited to, producing offers of employment and conducting the pre-employment vetting
* Ensure leavers information is entered onto Workday and the system is updated in a timely manner with no overpayments being made due to timing issues
* Data input to Workday - ensure new starter, salary, promotion, leaver, change to T&Cs are accurately recorded and checked
* Support with the administration of annual health surveillance - issuing forms, inputting onto Workday, and liaison with third party provider and their Safety, Health and Wellbeing team where required.
* Probation cycle - administration of forms and letters.
* Absence management - support line managers where appropriate
* Provide first line response for general employee and line manager queries in relation to HR policies and procedures, always identifying and seeking improved ways of working to deliver the best service for the internal and external customer. Escalate to relevant team members as required. Recruitment:
