The company are looking for the Recruitment Advisor to be a dynamic, internal recruiter with a creative mindset and hands-on approach, your drive, passion and can-do attitude will support the business to manage our internal recruitment and onboarding activities during an exciting and rapid growth phase.
Purpose of the role
Responsible for sourcing candidates through direct recruitment and multiple sourcing channels, you will deliver across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle as well as identifying new recruitment methods. Partnering with, and coaching hiring managers, you will have a hands-on approach and deliver a comprehensive service that is highly responsive.
Responsibilities will include:
* Sourcing for candidates on job boards (such as CV library and Total Jobs)
* Qualifying candidates against the job description
* Liaising with line managers from different departments regarding job adverts, understanding hiring needs in relation to team goals
* Supporting managers with the interview process/ leading interviews where required
* Collaborating with the business to enhance the overall recruitment processes
* Completing research into recruitment trends and forecasts and communicating your findings with your manager
* Setting up and taking ownership of job fairs, open days and networking events (with the assistance of HR)
* Managing a multitude of vacancies within a fast-paced environment
* Creating and managing a resourcing strategy which attracts the type and volume of candidates outlined in the operational forecasts (with the assistance of HR)
* Continually improve and build upon direct sourcing opportunities and to be aware of competitor advances
* Complete and maintain recruitment and applicant screening records in keeping with BS7858
* Design and post both internal and external adverts across social media channels and job boards
* Provide expert knowledge of the tools, techniques and methodologies that underpin the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
* To be fully acquainted with the regulatory elements of recruitment including Right to Work and overseas visa compliance, and kept up to date on all changes in employment legislation
* Ensure internal recruitment process compliance, and that all activities are conducted fairly
* Conduct reference checks and other background checks as require
* Research other sources of talent pipelines and begin building relationships with organisations / educational establishments to further promote the company in the relevant fields
As part of this role, you will also be responsible for managing the sponsorship process for the business. This involves venturing out and expanding your recruitment search to include prospective migrant workers. It is vital you comply with the strict sponsorship and compliance protocols that UK immigration laws require. This process involves proving we can provide genuine employment to our recruits and demonstrating we have the appropriate migrant worker monitoring and regulation strategies in place.
Key Attributes, Knowledge & Skills
* 3 years' experience within an internal or agency-based recruitment position
* A basic understanding of HR standards within the workplace
* A confident, organised and resilient personality
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills
* Experience of effectively managing multiple searches and assignments in high volume
* Self-starter who can work well autonomously and excels at quickly establishes relationships
* Excellent at all aspects of recruitment administration, and candidate liaison, with proven organisational skills, and a very strong eye for detail
* Excellent knowledge of sourcing and recruitment techniques including social media
* Previous exposure of working and interacting with Senior Leadership Teams
* Results-driven and action-oriented individual who is business savvy and entrepreneurial
* Strong time management and effective resource planning skills are a must, and is being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
* Experience in managing recruiting via the sponsorship (visa) route
* Experience in FMCG recruiting
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Salary starting from GBP25,000
