A well-established client in Dover is looking for a senior level procurement specialist to cover a long term planned absence from their team for up to 8 months on a fixed term contact basis. Coming in as the Purchasing Manager with two reports below you, you will have strong experience with goods and services procurement, scoping and specification of services and professional services and goods supply contract, sourcing and evaluation, contract negotiation and execution (non-construction), post-contract supplier performance and relationship management, and purchase-to-pay process execution.
The person will ideally be qualified to HNC level, Degree educated with 2 years + post graduate experience, have buying experience within a multi stakeholder environment and have a high level of commercial awareness and keen analytical skills. You will be available to start sometime within the next few weeks.
Salary would be up to GBP45k pro rata with a flexible approach to working in both the office and at home. Own transport and driving license is required for this role.
