The role is for a global 'Tech for Good' software provider and they're on a mission: dedicated to improving millions of lives through building technology that is truly awesome.
They have been building traction ever since releasing their first app over 10 years ago & now partner with some of the biggest names in the Healthcare industry.
And, they need a PHP Developer to join their mission and help build and maintain applications used by millions.
You can choose how little or how much you work in the office. It's the results that matter. My client provides the option of working fully remote in the UK or from their contemporary head office located in Bournemouth.
You'll be working in their backend pod of 7 developers, and part of a larger team of over 25 Developers. The team is constantly sharing knowledge, you'll work closely with the senior developers and get support from the team lead.
The role provides the opportunity to progress into a senior or team lead position, helping mentor junior developers. Also, you have the option of cross training and getting commercial experience with wider technologies that interest you such as Go or in mobile development.
Requirements
This position wouldn't suit a graduate or junior developer. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and passionate about producing clean, scalable, and high-quality code.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of PHP and OOP
Experience using MVC Frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
Experience developing and maintaining APIs.
An understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.Bonus Skills
