Technical Repairs Administrator

An amazing, high profile yet small, global shipping container leasing company is in the process of establishing its European head office in York and is looking for a 'stand out' Technical Repairs Administrator to join their team!

The overall purpose of your role is to support European operational area activities by assisting in administration and customer service-based matters whilst working closely (albeit remotely) with several European area depots, the Operations Manager, Technical Surveying team as well as customers.

With training you will be responsible for the following;

* Monitoring, inputting, updating and approving repair estimates for depots; ensuring all system/manual processing complies with procedures.

* Following up directly with customers to obtain repair approval authorisations in a timely manner.

* Managing and coordinating inventory status and depot repair performance regularly in conjunction with area operations management, assisting in the resolution of any customer disputes regarding repair reports from the depots within the region

* Preparing system generated repair invoices and manual invoices together with appropriate back-up documentation for leases

* Chasing and liaising with European depots via telephone and email to maximise turnaround of equipment to enable speedy re-leasing whilst assisting depots in obtaining repair approval from customers.

As the Technical Repairs Administrator, you are the main point of contact for all customers and the 'go between' them and the Depot Managers so you must be able to build great relationships easily and be able to coordinate lots of different mini projects at any one time. Once you have been fully trained, you will be able to establish depot repair priorities; to process and coordinate European depot activity reports daily as well as process all repair, drayage, handling and storage invoices.

The successful Technical Repairs Administrator will have;

* A minimum two years operational/customer service, or administrative industry experience

* The ability to prioritise, be self-motivated with strong IT skills especially Excel

* The desire to work as part of a small dynamic team in a modern office environment in York where there is a good team atmosphere, relaxed environment and supportive management team.

This company offers excellent career opportunities and great benefits including company pension and Bupa Healthcare as well as a fast paced, professional yet 'un-hierarchal' place to work.
