Trainee Telecoms Capacity Planner
Our clients are looking for Graduates or individuals with good IT, Admin or GIS skills for a role as a Trainee Telecom Capacity Planner.
The role would suit someone with all or some of the above skillsets and full training will be provided.
Title: Trainee Telecom Capacity Planner
Location: Ipswich or Birmingham
Rate: GBP13.00 per hour via Umbrella, 40.00 x Hours PW
Duration: 6 Months
Excellent opportunity for a Trainee / Graduate Telecom Capacity Planner to work from the Birmingham or Ipswich offices.
Client is looking for candidates with either a technical IT / telecoms background or a relevant Degree in IT, telecoms or Engineering.
Prior experience is not essential as full training will be given but would suit an individual with an interest in or knowledge of either:
* Telecoms / Fibre
* Data analysis or Data Management
* Networking
* Geographical Information Systems (GIS), QGIS or ArcGIS and network planning tools
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
* Strong technical IT skills
* Ability to learn new software & processes
* Great communication skills
* Drive to deliver to defined goals
* Ability to interpret detailed data requirements
Responsibilities after training will include:
* The main responsibilities include;
* Applying design principles to develop a high-level network plans
* Connectivity planning.
* Creation of detailed work packs including mapping for field-based Engineers
* Ordering cables ordering through internal order management tool/SharePoint.
* Managing the various field calls, continuous interactions with demand and delivery teams
