New great Purchasing Controller role for someone who has previous experience in purchasing and procurement department. This is an opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced team who work cohesively together.
Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP27,000
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for stock forecasting, ordering and planning with senior team.
- Managing current stock quantities, timings and deliveries.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of stock sheets and inventory of large volumes of stock.
- Responsible for placing purchase orders on a daily or weekly basis
- Act as point of contact for stock queries
- Participate in stock previews, product sourcing and development
- Participate in supplier negotiations, be prepared to travel if required by the team
Your background:
- Operational or Purchasing experience
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good project management skills
- Strong people skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office including Excel, SAP, Navision or similar)
