Our client, a law enforcement organisation are looking to recruit a External Engagement Coordinator to join their External Relations function within an Engagement Team, who cover all aspects of engagement with partners in the UK and globally.
Location: Embankment
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 36hrs
Pay Rate: GBP13.94 per hour
Start Date: ASAP (pending a security clearance which can take around 2-4 weeks to obtain)
Duration: 3-months Purpose of the role
Ensure the organisation coordinates its engagement with external organisations professionally, effectively and economically.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and managing requests for speakers, ensuring that requests are logged, filed and actioned appropriately.
Liaising directly with UK and international event organisers to obtain relevant information, communicate decisions and manage logistics.
Assisting senior members of the Engagement team in providing recommendations and advice to the Head of Division and the Director.
Assisting colleagues within the Engagement team and those undertaking speaking engagements in preparing briefing papers, presentations and speaking notes.
Working flexibly and collaboratively in support of the Strategy Group objectives. This can include assisting on ad-hoc projects led by other teams in strategy Group.Skills/Experience
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly, both in writing and verbally
Ability to manage large amounts of correspondence and multiple work streams adhering to deadlines.
Effective use of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
